IMPERIAL CEREMONIAL GUARD
A PEACEFUL AND CEREMONIAL ORGANISATION OF THE IMPERIAL NGUYEN DYNASTY.
In mid-2006, the Imperial Nguyen Family of Vietnam was approached by nine organizations that had opted to come under the umbrella of THE UNITED INTERNATIONAL SUPREME COUNCIL FOR THE FREEDOM OF VIETNAM (and South East Asia), and also involve themselves with The Vietnamese Constitutional Monarchist League. These associations with the Imperial Nguyen Family were warmly welcomed.
In November of that year, His Imperial Highness Prince Regent Nhiep Chinh NGUYEN-PHUOC Buu Chanh of Vietnam was approached by several senior Vietnamese Army Officers with a request to reform the ancient Imperial Guards Regiment of Vietnam to be made up of Veteran soldiers and their sons. The Prince Regent was delighted to re-establish that very proud, and traditional, Imperial Vietnamese military Unit and meetings were held in California in the United States.
RE-ESTABLISHMENT
THE IMPERIAL NGUYEN CEREMONIAL GUARD was re-established on the 7th of December 2006, of the Lunar Year of the Dog, with His Imperial Highness Prince Regent Nhiep Chinh NGUYEN-PHUOC Buu Chanh of Vietnam recognized as both Patron and also Imperial Protector. The first Ceremonial Guard Parade and Conference is to be held on the 7th of January 2007, of Lunar Year of the Pig.
